 This sounds like a meanwhile library bug. Support for newer Sametime
 servers is lagging a little bit, as I don't have an account on a newer
 server. You could open a bug with the meanwhile tracker, and what I'll
 probably request from you, once it's opened over there, is a packet trace
 so I can see what's going between you and the server.
