 Hello,

 I once told pidgin to open a chat window if one of my buddies logs in. I
 right-clicked the user, chose "add buddy-alarm" (or similar, I have the
 German version and don't know what's there in the English version) and in
 the opening dialog I chose "alarm if buddy logs in".
 That works: A new window opens whenever the user logs in.

 Then I wanted to deactivate the function but whenever I open the dialog
 "alarm if buddy logs in" is still checked. And whenever the user logs in a
 new window opens.
