 I installed Pidgin today after getting sick of AIM. I used it all day and
 loved it-it's a million times better than AIM's ad-filled crap. The
 problem started when I tried to put up an away message. I entered a custom
 away message (and I really wanted to have this message displayed, as it
 was a message to someone) and while it was listed as the active away
 message on the bottom of the Pidgin window, my away message was still
 listed as "Away" to other people and when I hovered the cursor over my
 name on my buddy list. I had to quit Pidgin and log into AIM to get this
 away message up, but I'd like to keep using Pidgin, so could someone help
 me resolve this issue?
