 A little more info:

 I've disabled all plugins and all accounts and pidgin won't segfault.
 I've enabled one account at a time and tried to open an IM window with
 only that account enabled and it WILL segfault.

 I have this rpm installed:  pidgin-2.0.0-40.1

 I've reproduced this on aim/yahoo/msn/icq/irc/jabber
