 Currently, users trying to simulate the behavior of gaim 1.5 with away
 messages are forced to hide messages and check the task bar icon list of
 unread messages. Why not have the option to display a window, when away,
 that would have the list of unread messages always visible?

 Consider adding the option to display a Window that contains a list of all
 the buddies' screen names who have messaged you since you've gone "away."
 Clicking on a username would then bring up the message they sent you. This
 would be similar to the away message system in gaim 1.5.

 The current behavior of either hiding the windows. or treating messages
 the same as when you are available. is not enough for some users.

 This could be the same list that already exists in the task bar icon,
 however it would be in a window.

 I tried to file this bug in #711, but I believe what I was asking may have
 been misinterpreted.
