 Steps to recreate:

 Bring up the "Join a chat" dialog
 Type any value in the room field
 Access the account drop-down box

 The room field clears....forcing the user to select the account before
 typing anything in the room field. Submitter feels it is safe to say a
 room value is needed for chatting, regardless of protocol, and could be
 moved from a protocol specific input so entry is not cleared when dropdown
 is activated,  (Note, selecting a different acct is not necessary, merely
 expanding the accounts list produces the behavior.
