 I hope that I'm not missing anything, but clicking "Add group" in Pidgin
 should create a new group, correct? Clicking the "Add group" menu item
 presents me with a dialog for the group name, but no new group is created
 when I click OK with any name.

 I have looked at the debug window when I create the group, and with
 "pidgin -d", but nothing is logged when I click OK.
