 This is from Ubuntu. One of our users commented on pigdin :

 "''If you middle-click on the grip between the input box and the message
 pane in the conversation window, the window closes. Note I don't mean that
 gaim crashes - gaim is fine, just that conversation window closes, as if
 you hit the X button on the window decoration.

 ''The reason I noticed this is that I tried to paste something by middle-
 clicking in the input box, but hit the gripper instead, closing the
 window. Annoying.''"

 Middle clicking on the tabs must close the tabs, but on pane-edges, it
 should not.
