 We had used the gaim-encryption for more than just validating whom we were
 talking to.  We used it to encrypt the conversations so they weren't
 sniffable.

 I agree that encrypting the passwords is silly, espically on any *NIX
 platform.

 Would there be a possiblity for this enhancement?
