 I am running Pidgin 2.0.0 on Windows XP SP2.  When I first installed it,
 it was working fine for a couple of weeks.  Then one day, when I started
 it up, windows gave me a message that the application had crashed and
 would now close.  I tried it a couple of times and I think the thing that
 triggers it most is logging in with my aim account.  It seems to be ok
 when I login with my yahoo and msn accounts.  The second I login with aim
 account it crashes again.  This happens with the debug build too.  I have
 attached the debug.log files from the release and debug versions as well
 as the debug.rpt file.

 A couple of other notes.  This machine originally had gaim on it.  I
 upgraded from gaim to pidgin and it worked fine.  After the crash
 happened, I uninstalled and reinstalled with reboots in between several
 times.  I also tried to clean up references to gaim and pidgin in the
 registry and the filesystem before installing again to make sure there
 were no artifacts left behind.  Nothing seems to work.

 I am a QA engineer as my occupation and this crashing is a thorn in my
 side.  If you need me to do anything, let me know and I will do it.
