 Not exactly -- the blist gets synced when it has changed, but there have
 been no changes in the past 5 seconds.  This prevents several changes in
 rapid succession from each triggering a save.

 I would consider being less happy about XFS, myself, if I found out it was
 corrupting my files.  :-P
