 Thanks for the feedback. If I'm not paying attention, I tend to revert to
 Symbian coding standards mode. Will Fix.

 Other things I need to do:

 * Replace gethostbyname with purple's async host name lookup. I had
 assumed that .local would be delegated to the bonjour server, and that
 would be answered by the cache in microseconds. Turns out I'm wrong. More
 fool me for expecting sanity from Apple.

 * Apparently I also need to add yet another pipe to the server to watch
 for txt record updates separate from the service record, otherwise it
 misses status changes from available to DND.
