 I don't know how to reproduce this, but it has been observed (in pidgin
 2.0.0).

 This is probably related to ticket #953.

 The problem:
  * Guifications shows a buddy signing on
  * I go to the buddy list and see the group that that buddy is in in the
 collapsed state, with "1" shown as the number of online buddies
  * I press the expander and nothing happens, I repeat this step for as
 many times as I like and the group (which shows "1" online buddies) still
 refuses to expand
