 Telling pidgin to startup offline is easily done from the preferences
 window. The Status/Idle page has a preference to use a specific status on
 startup rather than the last setting. The 1.5.0 login box was specifically
 killed, it confused tons of people and caused people to never realize they
 could log more than one account in at once, so it is never coming back.
 'Enabled' doesn't mean 'online' is means 'is controlled by the current
 status selection' so you can have a complex status that makes some
 accounts offline, so a 'Work' status could have your work accounts online
 and your home accounts offline, and vice versa for a 'Home' status.
