 Perhaps make the "typing" keyboard green and the "typed but idle" keyboard
 yellow to match the contact name color changes?

 Seanegan: My point was that the fact that the icon is animated is not
 sufficient to distinguish it at a glance from the non-animated one, as you
 need to stare at it for a moment to see whether it is moving.

 Are we at least agreed that they need to be more visually distinct?
