 If that is the entire backtrace than I can't see how this could possibly
 be a pidgin issue, since pidgin doesn't appear anywhere in the backtrace.
 It would be worth looking at seeing whether the copy of the eggtrayicon
 stuff in pidgin is up to date (since as I recall we have our own copy of
 that code), though given the linked GTK+ bug it doesn't look like they
 have it fixed upstream either.
