 The problem is obviously that gtk does not respect the button ordering
 inside a Windows or KDE environment. It affects all gtk based apps.
 Someone with influence in the gtk community really should go tell them.

 PS: I just tried adding the above "gtk-alternative-button-order = 1" line
 to the gtkrc and gtkrc-2.0 files that looked relevant (i'm using KDE on
 Gentoo), but this did not have any effect on pidgin or any other gtk based
 apps. Maybe it needs to be put into the source code before compilation?
