 I also get it every time i log on. But I have an idea how to cope with
 this kind of spam in the future:

 * Add a user customizable pop-up blocker that reacts on certain text
 strings and performs the selected action, e.g. "block".

 Example: This particular message could be effectively blocked if the text
 string "To start sharing instant messages, you'll first need to get
 the latest Yahoo! Messenger with Voice" is found in the dialog text.

 The gui could be something like:

 TEXT STRING             ACTION

 [ To start sharing... ] [ BLOCK  ]

 [ ..................... ] [ choose ]

 [ ..................... ] [ choose ]

 [ ..................... ] [ choose ]

 [ ..................... ] [ choose ]

 [ OK ] .................. [ Cancel ]

 Well... that was my best shot at a future-proof solution.  ;)
