 Invalid characters can be entered as screen name and in other fields while
 editing account information. This is a far from critical defect.

 At least for MSN account it is possible to enter invalid characters
 (newline) into the screen name entry (the extra character isn't even
 displayed). This may happen if you accidentaly copy/paste your email
 address from a text file that had a \n at the end.

 (pidgin-2.0.0, WinXP SP2) (This is a modified resubmit of a still valid
 request - originally on SourceForge: Bugs item 1384204 by me - nothing
 more written there. The bug is present in all versions from Gaim 1.5 on.)
