 I don't know for sure whether or not this is related to this ticket, but I
 attempted to remove an MSN buddy from my list and pidgin crashed.  I then
 reloaded pidgin and got a buddy list synch error, when I elected not to
 add it to the server list, pidgin crashed again.  After reloading pidgin a
 second time, I let it resynch by adding the buddy back to the server list
 and did not crash.  Throughout this, the buddy was never removed from the
 local list.
