 I can login successfully to Gtalk using XMPP protocol. I can test that
 because it gives me an error if I use the wrong password. The status shows
 "Available." However, I cannot see any of my contacts. I can see them all
 in Gtalk.

 I am using Windows Vista (after which this problem has started). I tried
 disabling my firewall, and the McAfee Anti-Virus (8.5). But, the result is
 the same.

 I tried the latest Beta also; no change.
