#1232: detect pidgin already running on start

Hi,
It happens sometimes, that I click on pidgin icon although it is already
running. In these cases a second window of pidgin launches and I am being
logged out from my account. Then I have to close both windows and start it
again.
So here it is:
Is it possible to make pidgin check on launch, if it is already running
and in this case to open the actual pidgin window instead of starting a
new one.
Another thing is, that I'm using "avant-window-navigator", which uses the
pidgin icon to both start the application and keep track of the running
one. If I hide the pidgin window in the systray, there it has no control
over the pidgin any more. If I then click on the launch icon, pidgin
starts for a second time, which leads to the above situation.
From usability point of view, this would be, in my opinion, a big
improvement and it would be great to see it implemented in future
releases.
So, this was it. Bye and big thanks.
You are already doing a great job now.
