Comment:

 I don't have any plugin by that name and I haven't touched prefs.xml at
 all.

 I guess the only piece of "dirtiness" about my setup is that it is from a
 Gaim install, rather than adding them afresh in Pidgin. If there's some
 way I can restore to a "clean" setup without nuking my contacts list, I'm
 happy to try that -- I don't have any particular preferences set up that I
 cannot recreate again later (outside of the contacts).
