 After being asked why I was for somereason not on an away status like
 usual, I clicked my status box (which said I was away).  After clicking
 this Pidgin locked up.  I ended the pidgin process and no when I open
 Pidgin the File, Accounts, Help, etc menus are not there, I am unable to
 use hotkeys to access plugins, preferences, etc too.

 Running the debug version of Pidgin yields no output.  I used the command
 prompt vaiation and here is the output:

 Could not open reg subkey: SOFTWARE\GTK\2.0
 Error: (2) The system cannot find the file specified.


 GTK+ path found: E:\Program Files\Common Files\GTK\2.0\bin
 Using SetDllDirectory
 Setting locale: LANG=en
 ----

 After seeing this I proceeded to reinstall GTK+ versions 2.11 rev b, 2.12,
 and 2.10.  None of which fixed the problem and each of which gave the same
 debug output.

 When I say reinstall, I mean I downloaded the installer and installed
 overtop without first uninstalling.  And then after that I uninstalled the
 programs and did a fresh install.
