Comment:

 All I have to do is, whenever somebody is sending a file for me, I just
 try to change the directory suggested by PIDGIN. Do you get that result
 after moving around?

 I was able to get the same result today trying to save a conversation and
 changing the directory offered by PIDGIN to save the HTML file. What about
 this sequence?
