 This is far more likely to be a duplicate of #647 - group rename will
 trigger that crash in such a way to leave the buddies in both groups. And
 of course clicking on these dialogs also triggers that crash.

 The crash aspect will be fixed in 2.0.1, hopefully when that's out we'll
 be able to see if this bug is really fixed.
