 I can't reproduce this bug in Windows on 2.0.1 or 2.0.0.

 Are you running the latest GTK+ release (2.10.11)?  This information can
 be found near the bottom of the about dialog.  Are you using the GTK+
 release included with the Pidgin installer?

 Do you have any plugins enabled?  If so, which?  Does it still happen if
 they are all turned off?  If so, try trial and error to find out which one
 is causing the problem.
