#1301: Global Status Changes with Complex Status still a little confusing

 Steps:
 1) Set complex status
 2) Try to type new status message (without using new) (NOTE: do not choose
 a different status)
 3) Push enter
 4) Push enter again

 Results:
 3) New status doesn't get set
 4) Old status reappears with greyed out status icon in selection bar

 Expected:
 3) EITHER new status gets set as global, or behavior from 4) occurs.

 If choosing a status or status type from the selector, expected behavior
 occurs. This only happens if typing a new message for the current status,
 which is why I'd expect 4)'s behavior to happen on the first enter instead
 of the second.
