 A Pidgin feature is that if you type a URL in an IM, it becomes a
 clickable link. The URL detection for this is not perfect; for one it
 breaks when it encounters a quote character. For example,
 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buridan's_ass only links to
 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buridan

 Not sure if there are other characters that are allowed in URLs (in
 general) but not included as part of one by Pidgin.
