 I think I disagree with this. If the server doesn't tell us when someone's
 gone idle, we should not tell the user a time.

 At best, it's merely inconsistant. Some people have idle times, other
 people don't. At worst, we report the wrong time.

 How does WinMSN behave? If it doesn't show idle times, I'm happy doing the
 same.
