#1375: Account disabled when logging in on another computer
-------------------------------------+--------------------------------------
 Reporter: iphitus | Type: defect
   Status: new | Priority: minor
Component: pidgin (gtk) | Version: 2.0.1
Keywords: account disable another | Pending: 0
-------------------------------------+--------------------------------------
I frequently switch between my two computers, laptop (B) and desktop (A).
The below examples are on a single MSN messenger account. Now when I
 switch, the accounts are disabled.

 '''Before'''
In the past, i'd simply start gaim on computer B, and it would logon,
computer A would be disconnected. On next start, either client would
 automatically connect.

 '''After'''
With pidgin, if I login on the other computer B, while computer A is
logged in, the account is disabled on computer A for next start.

The result being, I have to go and enable the account on a nearly daily
 basis, which gets annoying.

 '''Possible fixes'''

  - Don't disable account, just set offline
  - Or make connecting easier than opening up another dialog.
   - Maybe list disabled accounts after a seperator in the accounts menu,
 with their network icon dimmed/greyed?

Thanks for the great software. Been a gaim user for years and this is the
first time i've ever had the need to file a bug report.
