 In fact, I presented this situation for you, hopping that you guys could
 get back to old implementation.
 Is much better for us, to maintain as much of the libpurple code unchanged
 as possible.

 I think that have another bunch of projects (glib and related
 dependencies) being build with MSVC is not on the plans of our customer...
 So, we probably will make an adaption as we have to make with g_fopen by
 the same reason.
