 If you can say me an other solution how to get Pidgin to find public IPs,
 then I don't need the STUN server anymore. But its not able and as far as
 I can see the file transfer problem in pidgin will not been solved in the
 next time so I try to find my own solutions. Without file transfer
 capabilities the program is not usable for me. How can my firewall or DNS
 configuration be the reason when all other programs can do the trick
 (Trillian, ICQx, Gajim)?

 Sorry, now I need to say this: I tried to migrate from Trillian and ICQ,
 in which file transfer is no problem, to XMPP as all says its open and so
 easy to implement and some other points that makes me to like Jabber. But
 now I see, after years most clients aren't able to just initialize a
 simple file transfer. As far as I can say, it works worse than ICQ. I'm
 really disappointed.
