 X-GOOGLE-TOKEN is a jabber authentication mechanism, it is used by the
 official google talk client as their authentication system and does (as
 far as I know) not using tls encryption on the jabber connection. When
 pidgin gets that stanza there is in fact no indication that the server
 supports any authentication mechanisms that pidgin supports (as we don't
 support the X-GOOGLE-TOKEN authentication mechanism). If your proxy is
 attempting to 'guess' the right response from the server (and presumably
 blocking the real response or not transmitting your real request) then it
 is decidedly broken and should be ruthlessly murdered (at least as far as
 I am concerned).
 If miranda ignores this than it either doesn't support sasl authentication
 at all or it simply ignores the values the server says it supports and
 always tries the methods it supports, both of which are broken.
