 Hi

 I am unable to logging to my yahoo,aim,jabber,irc and MSN accounts using
 pidgin, please
 resolve the issue as soon as possible.

 here is the listing of the debug window, when using "no proxy" for the
 proxy configuration

 here "proxima" is the the proxy server.

 did I mention, at my office port 23 worked with "no proxy" settings,
 although there is a proxy, but the proxy port is 80 not 8080. At my
 home
 proxy port is 8080 as you might have guessed from the log message.

 the same problem use to happen in my office and at my home. Using 80 as
 the pager port didn't work, but 23 did work for my office. But at my
 home I am still stuck and I have talked with my ISP they told its not
 possible
 to open 5050 port because of some security issue. However I would like to
 mention that Yahoo Messenger is working fine, but pidgin isn't working at
 all. I have tried all the ports given in the GAIM FAQ, didn't work with
 any of them. I have take a look at some trackers with almost same issue,
 all of them have different solutions and none of them worked, so I think
 there
 might be some other way to resolve the issue.

 Another thing, some of my friends in different networks are also facing
 the same problem. Please resolve the issue with importance, cause if
 yahoo
 messenger is working then PIDGIN should work too, right??
