 There is no configuration option to hide buddy icons in the buddy list
 window.

 In previous versions of Gaim, this could be accomplished via
 "Preferences"->"Conversations"->"Show buddy icons".  Unchecking that box
 would hide the buddy icon from both the conversation window and the buddy
 list.  Checking that box would show it in both places.

 In Pidgin 2.0.1 (Windows), toggling that checkbox only affects the
 conversation window, but the buddy list always displays the icons.

 Ideally, there should be separate configurations to show the buddy icons
 in each place.  I'd like to display it in the conversation window, but not
 in the buddy list.
