 kia ora koutou...

first of all, thanks for you great software. i am using gaim on my Debian
testing for quite a while now and i hope that finch will be in testing
 really soon. :)

i am also working in an internet cafe where we would like to use Pidgin on
the computers (running Windows and Linux), but unfortunately it is
unsuitable. what we need is an command-line option --kiosk which starts
Pidgin with a dialogue where you are asked for username, password and IM
protocol. afterwards Pidgin uses that information to login and then
 behaves just as normal.
we need something that does not require to click through menus and setup
an account in the program, because the user won't come back.

currently, another volunteer is setting up links on the desktop to
meebo.com, but i do not trust their proprietary code. :)

is there a chance that there is anyone capable and willing to implement
 that mode?

 thanks in advance,
   shensche
