 Hi there.  Where's Jabber?

 On my Pidgin 2.0.1 source code compile on my Kubuntu 6.10 (Edgy) work
 system, it shows up in the final report in ./configure as well as on the
 list of verified protocols in make check, but when I go to add my Jabber
 account, it's not on the list.  I need Jabber for work - and it does show
 on my old Gaim 2.0.0 beta 3 Kubuntu-repository install.

 Meanwhile, I just checked for Jabber on my home laptop, a Windows XP
 install of Pidgin 2.0.0, and it's not there either.

 Help????
