 I'm not actively against the feature, I am actively against the creation
 of a potentially huge menu.

 Most of my 19 groups are for accounts that aren't online or tend not to
 have anyone online in them, so I don't see them in the buddy list but
 would need to see them in the proposed menu. I would not object to a Move
 to Group item which pops up a dialog with group name completion, but I
 don't think that would satisfy most people.
