Comment:

 This came out of a discussion in another ticket, if you open the New...
 status dialog, expand the per-account expander and then start to
 vertically resize the window the list of accounts should expand. Currently
 the message area does, and since the message area defaults to a pretty
 decent size (and the accounts area often doesn't like all of the available
 accounts) the suggestion is that the message area not be the widget to get
 all the extra space.
