Comment:

 This plugin is not maintained by pidgin so this ticket belongs in the
 plugin pack tracker. The suggestion is reasonable though. Also, I believe
 the plugin lets you turn off the buddy icon buttons for each account (but
 I could be wrong as I've never used it).
