 Thanks, I will update it after I return, need to head out soon.

 Lots of actions requires soap now under MSN, and each soap requires a
 separate connection. While it's true that some of them can be http and not
 https, I don't know if a little faster login is a good enough argument for
 not using https.

 How slow is it really? How much does it take to log in, and how does it
 compare with when you are on linux? Off the top of my head logging in
 needs to make 3 https connections.
