 Those errors are telling you that pidgin is being unable to rename the
 blist.xml.save file to blist.xml for some reason. I would check the
 directory and file in question and make sure you can write to it manually,
 that the permissions are correct, etc. and if pidgin isn't the only
 application having problems I don't think "w/e" is the correct response.
