#3850: Pidgin window positions with dual-monitors

I have a monitor and a widescreen LCD tv I use as a second monitor, and
whenever I turn the tv on and off, Pidgin's positional memory gets messed
up. It appears that it remembers its windows' positions (both the buddy
list and the IM windows) according to the top-left corner, since when I
turn the TV on (it's above and to the left of the monitor, both physically
and in the monitor layout in Windows) the IM windows open on the TV and
the buddy list opens at the top-left of the monitor, with the top half of
it off screen. This forces me to use the move function in the right-click
menu of the taskbar button in order to gain access to it. They are both
still in the same position relative to each other, they have just moved up
and to the left, which is why I think the position is based off that
corner, because when I turn the TV on, the Windows desktop starts at a
position that is much higher and farther to the left, thereby shifting
Pidgin's reference point. Then when I move them back into their proper
place, once I turn the TV off, and the Windows desktop reverts to normal,
they open down and to the right.

This may or may not be related, but after rebooting, the buddy list always
opens up docked to the right of the screen, even though every time I
undock it and shrink it down. I don't like it to be docked as this causes
any icons located in that space of the desktop to be shifted out of place.
I don't know if this is an issue in itself, or if it is because of the
shifting positional reference point pushing it to the right and causing it
hit the right edge of the screen, causing it to dock.

These issues have existed over the past few versions, since I started
using Pidgin a couple months ago, so it is not a problem with just the new
 release.
