Comment:

 Yes, I typically use the docked buddy list on the 2nd monitor, however
 I've had the problem occur while undocked on the primary monitor.  I have
 hardly any background programs running, no windowblinds or virtual
 desktops. This problem has persisted through a complete re-install of
 Windows XP, and Pidgin was one of the first apps reinstalled after
 Windows.
