 For some reason, my tray icon doesn't appear (Win XP).  Pidgin seems to
 run at startup (I see the process in task mgr) but the tray icon is not
 there and I don't see any activity or pounces.

 I generally realize this when I go to send an IM for the first time and my
 icon is not there.  I assumed, the first time this happened, that Pidgin
 had not started but when I clicked the app icon to start it, it popped up
 out of the tray area, like it had been there all the time and I had some
 pounces waiting.  That's when I checked the running processs and saw that
 the exe was running.  I am running 2.2.2

 Any ideas?
