 It would be intuitive to have the Mute Sounds option, which is currently
 under the Tools menu, mirrored in the Preferences dialogue under Sounds. I
 couldn't figure out why my sounds weren't working within Pidgin, and I
 assumed any option to mute the sounds would be under that tab. This was
 especially confusing because "Always" was selected next to "Enable
 sounds:".

 While it may seem I just overlooked the option in the Tools menu, I really
 didn't think I had much of a reason to look beyond the Sounds tab where I
 had chosen to always have sounds enabled. You know?
