 When you add add a buddy in Gmail, the buddy receives an authorization
 request.  When s/he accepts the request, two entries for the requesting
 buddy are created in the accepting buddy's Buddy List.  If the accepting
 buddy removes EITHER of the duplicate entries, the authorization is
 revoked.
