 A valued function to add.

 Preferences > Interface

 Below "Conversation Window in Hiding" it would be extremely beneficial to
 add a radio button selection option to pop new conversation window on top
 of open windows.

 I have many applications open and even with the sound on, if I step out of
 the office I will not hear the prompt. Even upon return, I rarely will
 note the application bar indicating activity. The pop-on-top option would
 be exceptional.
