 You can already sort the groups manually by dragging a group up/down the
 buddy list.

 However this would be a neat feature as I run Pidgin on my work machine
 and my machine at home.  I have around 15 groups (yeah it's overkill) and
 it would make life easier to be able to sort groups alphabetically for
 free.

 Pidgin rules!
